Investing X - logo

Investing X is a British brokerage company providing access to margin CFD trading. At first glance, the broker seems reputable, claiming to have thousands of clients from 30 countries, partnerships with regulated firms, a high level of security, and competitive services. However, it lacks a license, although it claims to be in the process of obtaining one. The organization has its headquarters in London, but its business model is not disclosed, and its operational history is unknown. These factors raise questions about its legitimacy. Are we dealing with scammers or a legitimate entity? That remains to be seen. While most online reviews are positive, we recommend not taking these at face value and conducting a comprehensive investigation with us.

First Impression of Investing-x.co

The official website of Investing X is loaded with a wealth of information, covering all aspects such as the trading platform, partners, regulations, contact information, types of accounts, commissions, and more. However, the site lacks specific details and instead offers large blocks of text that are not easily digestible. Additionally, we noticed that text on the website cannot be copied or highlighted. Why disable such features? To prevent someone from stealing the text, it can always be manually retyped if desired.

Inveting X - site

The website of Investing X has a structure which is typical for brokerage firms, featuring tabs at the top that provide information about the company, terms of service, contact details, and the services offered. The homepage is filled with motivational slogans and empty promises. While Investing X claims its trading platform is the best and easiest to use, its terms as the most favorable, and its additional services as the most effective, it offers no evidence to support these claims. As such, it’s not advisable to take these statements at face value. The website’s design employs a dark, purplish color scheme, combined with white. Apart from a rotating sphere on the homepage, which appears to symbolize the global internet, there are no other special effects or images.

In summary, the Investing X website is cluttered with dense text that you absolutely don’t want to read. The inability to copy or highlight the content adds an extra layer of difficulty in understanding the terms. The broker tried to create an impression of seriousness but completely failed. We can only give it 2 out of 5 points for effort.

Partnership and Bonuses

Investing X features an entire section dedicated to bonuses and an affiliate program, and the firm doesn’t shy about offering various promotions. First, new traders receive a welcome bonus upon account creation, which is designated for trading purposes and is non-withdrawable. Second, there’s an initial deposit bonus capped at $500. Third, a loyalty program targets regular clients who have been trading for over a year with Investing X. The points in this program vary depending on the type of asset traded, along with the frequency and volume of trades. These points can be converted into credits usable for trades. Fourth, they offer a referral program complete with marketing materials and managerial support. Finally, they have a “refer a friend” promotion where the user earns 10% of the referral’s investment, although this is awarded as a bonus, not as cashable funds.

Investing X offers a wide array of affiliate and bonus programs. However, it’s important to note that these bonus funds come with specific terms and conditions. Often, these conditions are designed in a way which makes it difficult for traders to withdraw their funds until the terms are met, which frequently results in a depletion of their account balances.

Account Opening on Investing-x.co

Registering an account involves inputting personal details such as your name, surname, phone number, email, and country of residence. Afterward, you’re required to agree to the terms and conditions and confirm that you’re engaging with the company voluntarily. Notably, by ticking a checkbox, you consent to receive electronic and phone communications from Investing X concerning your account. It appears rather suspicious, particularly because registration cannot proceed without giving these consents. Essentially, the company forces you to agree to receive phone calls and email spam, even as you claim to be approaching them on your own initiative. No reputable and trustworthy brokerage would engage in such practices.

The second phase of the registration process requires you to provide details such as your residential address, gender, date of birth, and nationality. You should then receive an email containing a password. However, the email never arrived. We attempted to register using multiple email addresses from various providers, all to no avail. As it stands, it’s impossible to create an account with Investing X. We hope the company will resolve this issue promptly. As for the availability of a demo account, we can’t verify this without successfully registering, although the firm assures us that such an option exists.

Verification is mandatory for trading on the Investing X platform. The broker mandates that clients confirm both their identity and their residential address. The documents required for verification are detailed in the section devoted to AML & KYC policies.

  • None.
  • Verification is mandatory, you can’t trade without KYC.

Trading Software

Investing X offers a web-based trading terminal that’s also adapted for mobile devices. However, there are no downloadable software options for PCs or smartphone apps. The broker claims its platform is professional and advanced, but we are unable to verify these claims due to the unavailability of the registration process. For now, we have to rely solely on their word.

How Can I Trade With Investing X?

It is a CFD broker, meaning it only offers trading in contracts for difference and doesn’t provide access to spot or futures markets. Investing X has various account types, each with its own minimum deposit requirement. Let’s delve deeper into this.

All Info About Accounts

Investing X claims to offer 6 types of accounts, even though their homepage says they have 8. Another inconsistency lies in the minimum deposit requirement. While they state a minimum deposit of $250, opening the first type of account actually requires $10,000. These types of contradictions seem to be common throughout their platform. They also claim to offer a leverage limit of 1:100, but it’s unclear if that’s accurate.

The first tariff requires a staggering $10,000 deposit, making the entry barrier unreasonably high. Reliable and experienced brokers have long lowered their minimum deposit requirements to as little as $1-10, but Investing X seems to be blatantly price-gouging. With the first-tier account, you get market reviews, a CMTrading e-book, webinar access, and social trading. So what happened to the promised personal manager, analytics, and trading signals? Apparently, those features are reserved for those willing to invest hundreds of thousands of dollars. The second tier of account requires a $25,000 deposit and the third $50,000, but they do add features like VODs, one risk-free trade, and a personal assistant.

Account types

We don’t see the point in discussing the other types of accounts in Investing X. The minimum deposit for those starts at an exorbitant $100,000 and goes up from there. Additional features offered include access to a trading room, customizable account settings, and a dedicated specialist. It seems unlikely, any trader would be willing to invest such substantial sums in an unlicensed and unverified broker. The platform also offers the option of setting up an Islamic account.

We can’t put faith in Investing X’s claims, as they’ve already shown inconsistency in their terms. For instance, they claim to have zero commissions, but they don’t provide any information on their spreads. Another curious detail is the mention of a CMTrading E-Book in the account types section. CMTrading is an entirely different brokerage, so is there a connection between the two companies? Or did Investing X simply copy text from another company’s site without bothering to edit it? There are numerous red flags and dubious aspects to consider.

  • There is an Islamic account.
  • The information on trading conditions is contradictory.
  • High minimum deposit.
  • Additional features are not disclosed in detail.

Market Analysis and Education With Investing-x.co

Investing X provides a range of market analytics and widget services. These encompass an economic calendar, risk management tools, alerts, guides, trading insights, live charts, and videos on market analysis. Additionally, their educational center offers an array of resources such as ebooks, webinars, seminars, a glossary, individual training sessions, FAQs, and a full-fledged trading academy.

Deposit, Withdrawal, and Fees

Investing X offers a variety of methods for depositing and withdrawing funds, including credit/debit cards, bank wire transfers, Skrill, Neteller, and cryptocurrencies. The first deposit and withdrawal each month are free of charge, but subsequent transactions incur fees. However, the broker doesn’t disclose the specific fee structure. Furthermore, additional charges may apply for transactions with particularly small amounts, although details on these fees are not provided.

How Can I Contact It?

Investing X lists two contact phone numbers: one for customer support and another for trading-related queries. They also offer an email address and a specialized feedback form. However, they lack an online chat for quick communication with their managers and have no social media presence.

We investigated these contact details further and found that both phone numbers are associated not only with Investing X but also with a dubious company named ETH Profits, which has been flagged as a scam and is now closed. Additionally, our verification revealed that the provided email address is also fake.

Fake email

  • None.
  • Phone numbers were found at another firm.
  • Email doesn’t exist.
  • No online chat or social media.

Is Investing X Dangerous?

The pieces of the puzzle are falling into place. Investing X has provided fake contact details that also directed us to another scam organization. The trading conditions are neither favorable nor user-friendly, and there are inconsistencies in the information presented on their website. We were unable to even complete the account registration process. It’s high time we fully unravel what this broker truly represents.

How Long Does The Broker Work?

The company fails to disclose its operational history, a red flag commonly seen with scam brokers. We verified the domain’s registration date and found that the website was created in August 2023. Additionally, Investing X doesn’t provide any official registration documents, leaving us without a way to verify its actual inception date. It leads us to conclude that the broker is likely a very recent entrant in the market.

How Is Investing X Regulated?

The broker confidently claims to be headquartered in London, specifically at the well-known office center located at 122 Leadenhall Street. However, upon checking both the UK’s business registry and the Financial Conduct Authority, we found no trace of Investing X. This leads us to a definitive conclusion: the firm is operating illegally and has provided a fake address.

Investing X - Companies House

On its website, the firm mentions several companies with which it has allegedly entered into partnerships. These include the Swedish Agenta Investment Management AB, the British Cryptopay LTD, and the Canadian Asset Management L.P. However, Investing X could not provide any evidence. The fraudsters have listed the names of well-known and regulated organizations to create an illusion of seriousness and reliability

Scammers have created a cumbersome website, and written many advantages and attractive offers, but this hasn’t helped them escape our investigation. Investing X serves as a cautionary example of the types of fraudulent companies operating in the forex industry. They blatantly lie about partnerships with other reputable firms, provide fake contact details and a legal address, and attempt to extort significant sums of money, starting at $10,000, and upwards. There are numerous red flags indicating that this is an illegal scambroker. I hope no one will fall victim to these fraudsters. Such individuals should face legal repercussions for breaking the law and engaging in unethical practices.

Another fake project was created to steal people’s money. Do not believe in this scam because you will lose your money. A new shady brokerage firm that needs to be shut down as soon as possible. Where are the regulators looking? Why is it even possible for such nonsense to exist?

They lie and don't blush
The level of trust
Quick withdrawal of funds

All the so-called advantages, merits, services, and promotions are nothing but empty promises and fake. Investing X operates as a dealing desk, which explains the plethora of fake and fraudulent services like trading signals, market analytics, bonuses, recommendations, and even personal analytic advisors. These offerings are engineered solely to scam people out of their money. Any trades executed on this platform are not sent to a market but are handled internally, guaranteeing that you’ll lose your investment.
The fraud was recently launched in August 2023. Its UK address is verifiably fake, revealing just how naive the scammers are to think they could swindle people with such an obvious ploy.
To add another layer of deception, Investing X has also falsely associated itself with three other companies that have no relation to the broker whatsoever.

Don't fall for the scam
The level of trust
Quick withdrawal of funds

The company has absolutely no connection to secure or profitable trading. Investing X is a scam broker that initially entices people with seemingly favorable conditions, alluring promises, and various marketing gimmicks, only to cheat them out of their money. The sad truth is that once you deposit your funds into this fraud, you’ll never be able to withdraw them. The scammers have no qualms about taking your deposit and offering nothing in return, while also cutting off communication. Take a look at their so-called contact details. The phone numbers are associated with another scam who likely created Investing X as yet another firm for defrauding people. Their email address is entirely fake. How can anyone trust a broker with fake contact information? I don’t know. And yet, a cursory look at online reviews reveals a slew of positive comments. Where did these favorable reviews come from? They can only be fabricated, specially written to deceive the public. Don’t fall for such scams; conduct your trades in reliable places. We are simply dealing with another scam broker, nothing more.
